Unfortunately, the hard decision has been made to close down the Boring Little Girls Club. The BLGC has been an amazing community space for the last 4.5 years, however we no longer have the capacity, energy or time to do this work as volunteers.
We truly believe that there is the perfect time for things to come to an end and that it is not always a sad thing. The ending of the BLGC will give way to other amazing community spaces and work.
We would like to thank everyone, from the bottom of our hearts, who has participated in our events, supported our membership program, given time and energy as a volunteer, a leader and/or a board member with the Boring Little Girls Club. You are the reason that we have worked so hard and put so much passion and love into the BLGC. You are the reason why the Club has changed lives, become an important safer space and facilitated friendships.
In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that we live, work and play on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy, Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, the Tsuut’ina, the Stoney Nakoda Nations, the Métis Nation Region 3, and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.
